Michael & JoAnn Sasnett are adventurers for Christ. Michael, when not installing tile, is a Gospel magician / illusionist, sharing God's love around the world using the eye-catching medium of magic. JoAnn is a Registered Nurse, and works in an emergency room in a major hospital in Charlotte, NC. They have two grown children and two fantastic grandsons. The Sasnetts' goal is to continue helping people, both locally and abroad, ministering to their physical and spiritual needs. They have been on multiple short-term mission trips abroad, and are looking forward to returning to Romania this summer. Michael and JoAnn are also looking into exercising their gifts in Ethiopia. A group from their church, Church At Charlotte, will be going to Ethiopia to do medical and construction work in a clinic. JoAnn's skills as an ER nurse could be tested and Michael's tile installation experience could be used, as well as sharing the Good News through Gospel illusions. There are a couple of other countries that they are looking into for near future trips. PURPOSE: The purpose of the short-term mission trips to foreign countries is to share God’s Word with people groups who may not have had a chance to hear before. As Michael is self-employed , he has the freedom to arrange his work schedule to accommodate mission trips. Michael and JoAnn do, however, welcome financial assistance from interested contributors, to help defray the cost of travel and lodging. All donations toward the trips are fully tax-deductible. See "CONTACTS" page. Please visit the "About Us" page for more information, including a slideshow of Michael and JoAnn's latest Romanian mission trip. Also check out the "Site Map" page for more information on the reading glasses project. |
